...ฝนชีวิต...

ทุกชีวิตย่อมมีที่อุปสรรค
มาทายทักคล้ายเป็นดั่งเช่นฝน
เมื่อตกมาย่อมมีที่เปียกปน
และหลุดพ้นฝนหายสลายไป

หากแต่ฝนมิได้ตกทุกที่
บางแห่งมีนานับรับมิไหว
เหมือนบางคนลำบากยากเกินใจ
หมดสิ้นไร้ต่อสู้หรูหนทาง

แต่บางคนสบายหมายแต่เกิด
สมบัติเปิดมีใช้ไม่หมองหมาง
แต่ก็มีอุปสรรคมาหักวาง
และลาล้าง แก้ไขไปเหมือนกัน

สิ่งที่เกิดก็มีที่แตกต่าง
มีสองอย่างไม่ดีและดีนั่น
อยู่ที่เราปรับไปให้รู้ทัน
ทุกข์สุขสรรค์ แก้ไข ใช้ชีวิต

when it rains, but wish it wouldn't
when sometime do but often shouldn't
when crops fail, and plan go wrong
some of us grumble all day long

when we lost, but hope to gain
when one suffers with a little pain
when must work, but like to play
some of us whimper along life's way

when at time can't forever smile
when must trudge in the dust awhile
when the thought of the way is long
some of us mutter that life's all wrong

when tragedies beyond control take place
live and stay the course within the race
learn from mistakes, made in the past
live in the future, sure footed and fast

when it rains, as it must and will
keep on working and hoping still
whatever poor or rich one ever be
live and aspire, search for simplicity

what happens in life, good or bad
do the best for the day, don't get mad
but in spite of care and doubt
somehow, it seems, all things will work out
